Fees & Insurance

For therapy services, Inner Spark Therapy is currently in-network with:

Aetna

Optum (includes United Healthcare, UMR, Oxford, Oscar)

For Autism & ADHD Assessments, we are out-of-network with all insurance companies.

If we are out-of-network with your insurance, we are happy to provide a super bill (receipt) so you can seek potential reimbursement from your insurance company.

If you plan to utilize insurance for in-network or out-of-network services, we recommend you verify your benefits with your insurance company before beginning therapy.

Private-Pay/Out-of-Network Fees:

Therapy Intake Session: $150

Individual Therapy Session, 53-55 minutes: $150

Autism and ADHD Assessment (includes intake, testing, analysis of results, written report with recommendations, and feedback session to discuss results and report): $1000 (averages out to about $100/hr)

We accept credit or debit and require a card to be on file.

Insurance and Privacy/Confidentiality: In order to use insurance benefits for therapy, whether in-network or out-of-network, your insurance company will have access to your personal health information, including diagnosis and services rendered. If using in-network benefits, your insurance company may also ask to see further documentation including session notes and treatment plans. If this is a concern, you have the option to opt-out of of using your insurance completely.

Good Faith Estimate & No-Surprises Act

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.  Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.  If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
